Slacklining is the practice of balance where one attaches flat webbing across two fixed anchor points. This is unlike walking on a tightrope because slackline webbing is dynamic and has elasticity, which is how balance is achieved. It is usually set up across two trees about waist high off the ground. Slacklining is a newer sport that is catching on at a fast rate for many reasons. Wikipedia says… “The dynamic nature of the line allows for tricks and stunts. Slacklining has quickly become popular due to its simplicity and versatility and its ability to be practiced in a variety of environments.” Great for many ages, lines can vary in difficulty from young kids to professional." Those who participate in slacklining are often called "slackers".
We are the most ambitious group of Slackers you will ever meet. Watch, laugh, or be daring enough to jump in as we practice our Sweet Slackline Skills. Come join the fun in the park every week! We know that life works best when it is shared with others, that's why we made space for us to share a bit of life together every week. Each week has something new... come out and ride the slackline and indo board, play bocce ball, soccer, frisbee, croquet, or corn hole. Some weeks we just might share a meal together as well. We are located in Konehete Park at the slackline park behind the last baseball field by the end of the river walk. (check our posts to see when and where we are setting up)
